Atinuke "Tinu" O. Diver of 'Yes We're Together'

ITYC had the pleasure of talking with Tinu Diver of the blog "Yes We're Together" in this episode of the podcast. We discussed the finer points of the "yes we're together" moments she's had with her husband, the importance of communication about race in an interracial marriage, and how writing the 'Yes We're Together' blog has changed some of her views on race and marriage.

We also talked about her fantastic post "Jesus Is Not Post-Racial" and the challenges of finding a truly diverse place to worship. Tinu does indeed tackle the issues of race, bigotry and interracial/intercultural in-law challenges with grace, humor and style.  If you're not already a fan, you will be by the end of this episode.

The live podcast cut out before we could announce some of our fantastic July ITYC podcast guests, including the inspiring Rene Syler of Good Enough Mother on July 22nd, the equally inspiring Chantilly Patino of Bicultural Mom and the new e-zine Multicultural Familia on July 8th and Eliss from one of my new favorite blogs Integrated Memoirs on July 1st.

Keep your eye on your ITYC podcast page on Blogtalk Radio for the times of these interviews and for more updates.
