On Long Island, my parents suffered two downed trees and one downed tree that fell on their house-mercifully it did relatively little damage. Other people in their neighborhood weren't so lucky. Trees destroyed many homes in their neighborhood. To top off the destruction from the trees, many are still without power and have been for almost a week.
Now that the power is back, the slow job of cleaning up can begin.
